Celeste and I attended a Mardi Gras party thrown by our friends Liz and Stefanie. Celeste had a great time eating delicious Cajun food, wearing lots of beads, playing with masks, and running around playing peek-a-boo with everyone.

This is only Celeste’s second time to be on a Carousel. The first time, she enjoyed it but wasn’t really impressed in the grand scheme of things. 6 months later, she loved it! She even cried a bit when it was time to go, which isn’t something she does too often.

Celeste and I went to one of our favorite restuarants: Gloria’s!

This room, Celeste’s playroom, was neat and orderly about 30 minutes before this photograph was taken. She classifies as a category 4 hurricane at least, right?

If I’d let her, Celeste would happily have Ice Cream with every meal.
Her PaPa flew to Texas from Canada to visit her for a week. He took Celeste and Jess out for lunch last Saturday and invited me along to visit. Here she is at Tin Star enjoying her dessert.

My precious little girl is two years old and there’s no turning back. I can’t even remember what life was like before she came into this world but I’m certain that it was boring, lifeless, and a lot less messy than it is now. And I wouldn’t change a thing.

It’s so hard to believe that my little girl is now 2 years old!
We celebrated her birthday with family on Christmas day and then spent the 26th enjoying life as it was meant to be.

We hosted a holiday party last weekend. All of our friends showed up. We ran around a lot, ate good food, and decorated cookies. Of course most of the decorations went in our mouths and on the floor instead of on the cookies.

A friend of mine had a birthday on Sunday. I brought Celeste along to the party so that should could play with the other kids. There were 8 adults and 6 kids and we all had a very good time. Here is a photo of Celeste and a friend having an afternoon chat.
